Packaging for your store

Do you have a product that is new in the market and cannot be immediately understood by the customer. Then, for example, you can print packaging with visuals or text so that customers will understand more quickly what they can do with the product. This will also possibly convince the possibly to buy the product faster.

You can also think about printing a recipe or want right that your product stands out more from the shelves. But you can also opt for a more environmentally friendly look such as kraft paper. With this you can ensure that you appeal to your target group.

What requirements must my packaging meet

Beforehand, it is good to think about what the purpose of the packaging is, after which you can also think of the requirements. As an example, do you sell a product that is easily fragile? Then you may want to put it in a box where the product may be protected by foam or another product.

But also, for example, if you want to use a package for several products and you want certain information (or legal information) per type of product on the package. Then you can choose to give your product a general print, and have a sticker printed with the individual information per product. Because packaging is very specific per store and industry, packaging can be very specific. However, we like to give an overview of the products we see used a lot.

Most commonly used retail packaging

Headerbags

Header bags are bags with a “header” these are also often called header card bags. These bags are ideal for use with lighter products such as cards, necklaces, beads and more. These bags feature a delta or euroloch hanging hole at the top, making it easy to hang the bags in a store.

These bags come in three types:

Header bags with an adhesive strip or protective closure have their filler side at the bottom. This has the advantage that you can adjust the size of the bag through the adhesive strip. The disadvantage is that these bags are less suitable for heavy products.

The header bags with protective closure are mainly ideal for cards or products made of paper. With this closure, the adhesive strip is not on the flap, but is on the bag itself. Here, when removing e.g. cards, the customer will have no chance of the card getting stuck on the adhesive strip.

Header bags with top loading have the advantage that the opening of the bag is at the top. Therefore, this bag can be filled with heavier products and there is no chance that the adhesive strip will fail.

Kraft boxes with window

If you want to pack a larger number of products, kraft boxes with venter can come in handy. Through the window, customers can still see the product. Here you have the advantage that you can add printing, sticker and more to the boxes.

Kraft boxes then also have the advantage of being more environmentally friendly. They are available in sizes up to A4.

Pillow boxes

Pillow boxes are boxes with a bulge in the middle, these boxes are often used as gift packaging for smaller products or for coupons.

Pillow boxes are then also boxes that can be assembled very quickly, the boxes generally take up little space

Paper shopping bags

shopping bags are indispensable within a store, of course you want to be able to give a customer a bag when they buy multiple products. The convenience for the customer also.
