Our affordable heatsealer
This sealer is our most economical sealer within our range, the sealer is specially made to be used at home or in a shop where you want to seal a few bags per day. This machine is not designed to seal 50 or more bags per day, for this we recommend our professional sealers such as our PFS-200 and PFS-200HD.
Sealing machines are ideal if you are looking for a machine with which to seal a bag. When using these machines, you press the top of the machine down, after which the sealing wire is heated. The heat allows you to seal the bags hermetically, preventing air from reaching your product.
The advantage of this is that, for example, a perishable product stays fresh for longer, but also if you want to make sure that a bag cannot be opened just like that.
Using sealer for the first time
When you take the sealer out of the packaging for the first time, we recommend connecting it to the power supply. Set it to position 2 at the beginning, press the sealer 5 times and wait until the light goes out. After this, your sealer is warm and ready to use.
When sealing bags, how long you need to keep the sealer closed can vary depending on the thickness of the bag. It is best to test a few bags and turn the orange knob to the desired time. Turning the orange knob determines how long the sealer should be sealed; when the light goes out, the sealer will no longer heat.
Sealing machines against food waste
You probably know it you have opened a bag of crisps but you can't get the bag finished in one go. Knowing that if you leave the bag open your chips won't taste the same the day after. For this, a sealing device is exactly what you need. So after you have enjoyed your bag of crisps, you can seal it airtight and open it again the next day after which you can enjoy your super tasty crisps again.
Besides crisps, there are countless other ways to seal other food items bags, keeping them fresher for longer so you don't have to throw them away. How do I know if this sealer is suitable for sealing my product?
This sealer is suitable for sealing almost all types of plastic, but it is good to think about how often you want to use a sealer and for what sizes of bags. This sealer has a seal width of 20 cm, but we recommend using it to seal 19 cm wide bags. This has to do with the fact that you have some space in front of the bag and don't have to move around unnecessarily to make a perfect seal.

Heat sealers for your shop
If you occasionally want to seal a bag in your shop, this sealer is extremely suitable. The advantage of using a sealer over a sticker or tape is that it looks more professional, but also that customers cannot just open the packaging. As a result, the product remains in the packaging and undamaged, and there is no chance of the product falling out of the bag, so there is less chance of damage and you may not have to throw away your product.
Sealers are also used to repackage returned products, for this purpose regularly PE bags which allows you to seal them completely with a sealer. Now, this sealer is only suitable for sealing small numbers of bags per day, but should you be repackaging and sealing a lot of returns, you should use our PFS-200HD. This sealer has a wider seal so the bag will always be tightly sealed.
Replace sealing wire
After a certain time it will happen that your sealing wire runs out, this is the wire that gets hot and allows you to seal the bag. These are easy to replace on our sealers, you have to unscrew 5 crosshead screws. After loosening these, you can loosen 2 plastic plates and a Teflon layer will come off, which contains the sealing wire. When you replace your sealing wire, we recommend you also replace your teflon layer immediately. After you have replaced the sealing wire and the teflon layer, you can quickly and easily put everything back together again, after which you can immediately start sealing again. We do recommend that you heat up the new sealing wire before sealing.
