Reclosable plastic bags

Reclosable or also called resealable plastic bags are in fact the base of our product assortment. We have a lot of sizes and we are adding more and more sizes every month. As said they already exist in a lot of sizes and qualities, but are all made of superclear Opp film (also called BOPP or cellophane).

Our resealable bags are made from a plain film which is folded together, after this the sides are sealed with a hot sealing knive. Therefore they are also being called sideseal bags. All have an extra flap of 2-5 cm, depending on the size of the bag. The flaps of these resealable bags have a tapestrip attached to them and the tape has a peel off strip. The tape strip is reusable for a couple of times and you can open and close the bags for at least 10 times.

We can also provide you with bags that have a permanent glue strip. That means that once the bag is sealed it can only be opened by ripping the plastic. These bags are not standard in our program, but we can produce them in our factory for you if requested.

Reclosable bags are used for quite some purposes. All our bags are made of acid free plastic and therefore ideal for archival purposes. By now we have a very good feeling on what the purpose is for our resealable bags for our customers and we would like to share that with you:

- Wish cards
- Postcards (collectors)
- Wool and threads
- Stamps (collectors)
- Direct mail
- Scrapbooks
- Sliced meats etc.

For packing your precious wish cards, photographs or collection of First day covers for example, we recommend you to use our reclosable bags with protective closure. These resealable bags still have a flap and tapestrip, but the tapestrip is placed on the bag instead of the flap. This way you can easily remove your product and put it back in without the tape being able to attach and damage your product. There is no better way of packing your products safer than this!
